    Gregg K. Jann

    Author

Gregg K. Jann was an elected official for a local school board at Piner-Olivet Union School District in Santa Rosa, CA from November 1998 to June 2005. He voluntarily quit to drive a Schwan truck.

Piner-Olivet USD survived the North Bay Fire Strike at the school district boundaries. Jann was known for Character Education as a proponent, and espoused "Soft Skills" to be included in curriculum pieces as board oversight. Gregg Jann had written many pieces in the editorial letters section of local newspapers about Teaching Responsibility, and felt embarrassed by Abstinence Ed as one focus. Jann does feel like he wrote the book of the movie The 40 Year Old Virgin, as the personal parts taken from an unsolicited manuscript emailed out, intended for a psychological journal written New Years Eve 1999. He has not gotten credit or income from Hollywood for a few or several claimed projects by the way he handled it. Some in Gregg's political circles felt this Sonoma County 4th District school district was too Republican when they heard Jann's specialty was "Character Ed." In countering an assumed staid personal image, in Gregg Jann's 4th non-fiction political science and law book, (including philosophy, economics, religion, and mental health with an autobiography his 3rd book), Jann calls this student goal "Teach Peace" meant for the CA state Constitution or US Constitution with the 3 or 4 paragraphs titled Truth to Origin.

The “right” to propose a second Amendment of CA Ballot Initiative is perhaps a requirement for Mr. Jann, as Gregg Jann was at the beginning of California's Proposition 63, which passed CA voters in November 2004 as The Mental Health Services Act. He calls himself Source Perspective Designer of the MHSA ballot initiative, for no one told him and it was on his own initiative to ask and draft the tax funding mechanism as originally volunteer working appointed liaison by Sally Zinman with the California Network of Mental Health Clients to the California Mental Health Directors Association. Yoder/Shaw was the Sacramento lobbyist firm who handled the Directors Association account, and Jann worked directly with them in weekly teleconferences, Sacramento meeting rooms, and travel through the state of California. Jann was a part time counselor employee at this time in Santa Rosa, CA, later becoming full time for a total of 10 years full time and part time with outside of mental health in business sales experience too. Jann applied his own knowledge in key input for designing the ballot initiative, gained from his time away from work but part of his own pre-company sole proprietorship. Jann hoped his design would greatly remunerate him on the level of Jarvis/Gann who were paid millions of dollars personally for 1978’s Prop 13, which cut property taxes and resulting state services. Jann is still looking for Origin Pay, and Jann wasn’t even promoted at paid work.

Jann negotiated for MH consumer labor rights first time in a non-profit's first union labor union agreement, as well as all line staff worker rights at his employer CSN with SEIU/Local 707(now 1021.) Jann was a voting founding member of a Santa Rosa, CA Reconciling Methodist Church that voted for LGBTQAI+ rights in the local church's Christianity- which the National Body has some opposition as most Protestant denominations. In Truth to Origin, Jann wrote an original track of Gregg Jann's own Acceptance Theology spoken when he was circa 8th Grade to lob pitch baseball students on summer break-summer league casual basis among friends keeping score, and then what he said may have taken hold telling his mother Alice Hartwell Jann (to her Donn Jann, or then to United Methodist Women or CCUM Rev. Bob Olmstead). Jann's dad and Alice's divorced husband was Donn - a nationally successful Presbyterian minister who Gregg loved telling his school chums was National Council of Churches President "skattered" among his own ideas for progress in civil and churches.

Jann maintains he named the disease AIDS(Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome) first and originally, from visiting Chico State University campus before enrollment/attendance in Spring 1982 and him reading a definitive article looking for a name for a new strange, sexually transmitted deadly disease. Jann was suffering a nebulous mental condition himself, Gregg hiding his illness from all peers, family and doctors; and Jann knew acknowledgment was important even though he hid himself until his A Jann Plan was published World Aids Day 2014. Jann also has a heath business tax license for his part time company that he owns and seeks design and advocacy profits, works for a non-profit as a de-stigma presenter, and owns a medical counseling, mental health services trademark named Jann Demystifying Affects for his sole proprietorship(Jannda.com). Jann has not been documented for his naming of this disease by medical research institutions for their snootiness, or much of his sources in the USA economy or our history making, as journalism does not often reveal tips, perhaps for danger. Banking money goes to financiers not idea men. Politicians steal from their speech writers. All types of public entities and entertainers lift verbal output of starts and parts of genesis endeavoring all without crediting the nude sources. Source Rights are what his published books are about, particularly for the mentally disabled or presidential speechwriter - both banned types of people particularly television or radio. [Jann owns a web site of Jannda.com]

Jann has published claims of "source perspective designer" not paid to him in money for great things that is rightful for him, yet he knows he made history that can't be taken away from progress all of it or stolen from him personally; except through black listing, bans, and unrecognition socially and economically. Gregg Jann is straight, heterosexual. Jann is a graduate of Chico State University and Sonoma State University. (class of 1986) Gregg K. Jann has authored: Truth to Origin, 2019 Van Goghing Gregg: Recovery toward Love, 2017 A Jann Plan: Creative Origins Advocacy/Teach Peace and Creative Accountability, 2014 Bettering the World, 2009
